Dr. Húmedo recalls through his sets, the first nights of dancing in the clubs of downtown Bogotá. The movement of Latin cities, the unexpected, the colorful and the dark, the paranormal and the invisible.
Dr. Húmedo operates in the darkest hours.
With more than 10 years of experience DJing, the Colombian resident in Barcelona has earned a reputation for his very diverse sound palette.
He has a 'penchant' for melancholic vibes and for creating a narrative through his selection of electronic music. His selection is very wide, but always falls in the direction of dance music, whether it is house, techno or electro, he firmly believes in the idea that electronic music has to constantly evolve and overcome the paradigms established by traditional sounds and song structures.
His latest work, Humedal, was conceived between 2017 and 2020. Written from the nostalgia of his hometown, Dr. Húmedo tells the story of a Friday night in Bogotá through seven different characters. The album follows a chronological narrative thread that begins with the last lights of the day and takes us to the darkest part of the capital's night.
