MØSENGGE is a techno music producer and DJ.
He presents us with a dark universe, with great kicks and basses, with hypnotic sounds, acids and atmospheres charged with energy in the purest underground style.
We have had the pleasure of interviewing him and this has been the result.
Congratulations on winning the EXHALE DJ Competition Can you tell us how you started to DJ and where you are from?
Thank you for your kind words! I'm from Ibiza and I started to get interested in the world of DJing when I was thirteen years old. Music is something that I have always felt inside of me, and I knew that I had to do something with it. Twelve years later, they give me the news that I have won to play in the club that, for me, is the best in Ibiza and in the world. A dream come true.
How do you feel having been the winner of the EXHALE parties?
I have to say, when they gave me the news I cried. I couldn’t believe it. Of more than 500 people who applied, I won, it has been something incredible. I feel very proud of myself, very happy. Because you always have to trust yourself and your intuition and above all work hard. I will be eternally grateful to the EXHALE family for this great opportunity.
How did you get involved with the EXHALE community?
It all started last year (2022) when they did their first residency in Ibiza. They told me that they are looking for ambassadors for the party, and without any doubt, I applied to work with them at DC10. But I started to know about them when they went to Fabrik Madrid in 2018
What can we expect to hear from your set on the 2nd August at DC-10?
Well, I don't want to reveal too much, but I think I'll do a great warm up. Opening the main room, I've been turning up the intensity until the end of my set, with hypnotic techno and more.
Can you tell us one DJ who inspires you more than anyone else and why?
Ellen Allien and Ben Klock. Ellen has a way of DJing and a selection of tracks that I love. Whenever I hear it on a set or live, it surrounds me in such a way that it abducts me.
Ben Klock brings out my most underground, darkest side. The hypnotic and raw part that techno has, with those atmospheres that make you travel. I love it.
One piece of advice you can give someone who is trying to make an amazing mix?
I advise making a preselection of tracks, where you see that among all of them you can manage to make a set from less to more intensity, with harmony.
That you think you can mount a great trip with the preselection that you made, improvising the mixes on the set.
