Acclaimed around the world for his musical eclecticism and relentless rhythms, ^L_ has created a way of producing and experiencing music that is as unique as it is unique.
Now he publishes, URBAN STIGMATA, which marks his return to the SAMO(c) label since 2021. This latest work is a total assault on genres with sounds that touch on jungle, drum & bass, breaks, electronic, hard techno and IDM. Altogether it has a high eccentricity orbit, where all these elements, apparently dispersed, seem to come together at the end. ^L_I's sound has a common characteristic recognized by recurring themes, such as nostalgia, melody and cosmic depth, which draws you in, but without losing energy.
We don't know what the future holds for us, but we do know that this record is testimony to a turbulent and uncertain present, which will remain in our memory forever. Thanks to work like this, we can continue fighting for a better future.
