REVIEW: BONKERS presents Year III

There are artists who to go beyond their sound, they have to get rid of their original name and create another, but then there are the others, who to go further, they have to meet again, to create a sound whose starting point is not born both the attempt to cross borders and to recover them. This is the case with Bonkers calling their third year as a record label, and for the celebration a very special six-track compilation will be released, for the first time on Vinyl 12 ”, bringing many amazing new artists to the label and also a very different sound. Artists like Undefined Pattern, Ducati Flux, Ludviq & Technicism, Ricardo Ruben, Hanzo & Yaman and 9 POUND HAMMER.

"Year III" is a serious work, cared for with great care, which lends itself to starting it and not returning to reality until it is finished: the headphones are like the oxygen cylinder that allow you to dive to the bottom of this great sound rotation, of this cosmic orbit, and to be there in a state of hypnotic fascination. In this world where speed is desperately sought and attention deficit is so high, such a record will be misunderstood among many people, even dismissed as really important. But you just have to have the patience and the will to stop, to breathe, to sink into it, to hold on there for as long as you can, and admire its interior.

Music is evolving all the time, so the sound of the label has to evolve as well. Long live Bonkers!
