INTERVIEW: Renwartherger

Renwartherger creates music that works in all settings and transcends genres. We had the opportunity to speak with this mysterious collective and this has been the result.

Can you tell us a little about your experience? Where are you from / how did you get into music? Renwartherger is an anonymous project. It's focus is to convey the music, rather than detail personal background information. How is your sound evolving? What artists and genres do you enjoy mixing right now? The music is a personal journey, exploring genres that have always held meaning and value. The output will always change, How do you feel that your music influences or impacts your listeners? Hopefully they will find it pleasant and interesting. It's there to challenge established genre paradigms and hopefully encourage other creators to step outside their comfort zone.

What projects are you working on right now? What can you tell us about your last job? Looking forward to writing a new E.P. to release on Bulletdodge again towards the end of next year maybe. Where are you and what have you been doing now? Always here and always doing Has that sound changed a lot in recent years? What is your musical criteria? 'Lifelike E.P.' is the first full release so it's exciting. Yas Yas track appeared on a Bulletdodge compilation earlier this year which received some really cool feedback. Do you feel safe now to play a more experimental sound? It's not so much about feeling safe as more just comfortable doing so. We all know that the digital revolution has affected sales, but has it affected creativity? Not at all Can you tell us what your present and future projects are? Lifelike E.P. out now with two super remixes from Suna Path and Alex Over. Hoping to release another E.P. on Bulletdodge in 2022.
