The Soma Records label releases "Rave Is Dead", by producer Namesis, which will be released on March 8th. On this album, this unique producer shows us the captivating and timeless contemporary electronic music of a new generation of producers, drawing inspiration from various electronic disciplines, such as a new rhythm, EBM and even industrial.
Namesis began working on the EP during the first wave of Covid when he was at his home in Kaliningrad, Russia's westernmost city, compiling a solid release consisting of superbly crafted dark music on synthesizers. This EP, through solid arrangements and solid programming, becomes a vehicle for reverential music that manages to spill out enough ideas from the artist himself to shake off the era that is so high, allowing him to exist in his own right as credible. Namesis manages to admirably distill it into an EP that turns out to be listened to intently from start to finish.
All these themes converge, to combine an album as experimental as intense and addictive, which takes over oneself like a sweet poison, while progressively transporting us, as few producers with a certain fluidity are willing to do, condensing two ideas that seemed to already We were not going to recover: future and permanence.
