REVIEW: GLORIA presents "LVS"

GLORIA returns, the Budapest-based songwriter, producer and vocalist who boldly experiments with electronic sound and musical clichés. Interested in the perception of music and the felt experience, all her tracks sound marked, recognizable and innovative. GLORIA considers her music metamodern, constantly oscillating between vulnerability and irony.

«LVS», his latest GLORIA release, offers the listener a fascinating journey through the universe of electronic genres. All the tracks on her new release GLORIA were written by herself and Mark Moldvai helped her with sound engineering. Mark is also a founding member of the Hungarian band Neo.

GLORIA’s «LVS» EP will be released on the Ukrainian Masterskaya label on April 27th. It is an independent label based in kyiv founded by Ivan Dorn, a famous artist in Eastern Europe. At the moment, the tag team has left Ukraine due to the war and continues to work in Europe.

GLORIA creates music that works in all settings and transcends genres. Her openness de él to a wide range of sounds is what has made him a beloved favorite, but also someone who operates in her own parallel musical world. GLORIA leaves nothing behind and confirms the mission that electronic music has always had: to play with the present and advance into the unknown, beyond entertainment. The result is a work as experimental as it is intense and addictive, which takes over oneself like sweet poison, while progressively transporting us, as few producers with a certain fluidity are willing to do. We do not know what the future holds, but we do know that this record is testimony to a turbulent and uncertain present, which will remain in our memory forever. For records like this, we can continue to fight for a better future.
