Avalon & GMS remix Charlotte de Witte ‘How You Move’ via their New Moniker ‘Age of Acid’

Out Now on RPM by KNTXT - Get it HERE

Charlotte de Witte’s much-loved mid-2024 single, techno anthem ‘How You Move’, gets a psytrance makeover from Avalon & GMS, AKA ‘Age of Acid’ - this is their debut release as an official artist duo under their new moniker. Their remix is out now on RPM by KNTXT.

de Witte’s previous support for the mind-expanding combo includes releasing their debut collab EP ‘The Underground’ on KNTXT, and including their remix of ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ on the deluxe version of her debut LP.

‘The boys are back! I'm very honoured to have Avalon & GMS once again on remix duties for one of my tracks, and this time with their brand new project 'Age of Acid' Charlotte says. ‘'How You Move', originally released in 2024, gets taken to a whole other level and quite literally reaches new dimensions. It's just another confirmation of the love between these two genres in the realm of electronic music. And more is coming…’

‘How You Move’ (Age of Acid Remix): the full-on hypnotic, increasingly acidic attack, and fast but subtly placed rap of the original is chopped into multiple mind-bending trancey breakdowns, builds and breaks, with skittery melodic synth themes, while a commanding rhyming rap is processed, broken up, and brought forward, and the fizzing acid elements get an extra acid-drop vocal of their own. ‘Take it to the dancefloor’ indeed.

‘We both loved the original by Charlotte and feel this is one of our favourite remixes we’ve made so far’ Age of Acid say. ‘Keeping the essence of the original, but also bringing our own sound and stamp on this acidic bomb. Also we are very honored to have it as our debut release for our new Avalon & GMS project together called ‘Age of Acid’.’

Both artists & friends are legends in their own right. London DJ/producer Avalon, recent Beatport #1 top-selling psytrance artist, has over 30+ psytrance chart #1s & 5 top-selling LPs , shows at Tomorrowland, Boom, EDC Las Vegas, Glastonbury, Exit, Burning Man, Ultra, ASOT, Ministry Of Sound... GMS (Growling Mad Scientists) aka Dutch Ibiza-based DJ/Producer Riktam boasts the most psytrance records released, 300K+ album sales. He established pioneer psytrance label Spun Records, and his tracks feature on three Tony Scott films.
