The lyrics originate from Lyrics Born’s 2008 underground hip hop classic Hott 2 Deff (note the extra t.on ‘Hott’). Buka explains more: “I was walking through Berlin when I heard the original song playing inside a vintage shop. I instantly pulled out Shazam, and by the end of that same day, I already had the first sketch finished. From the very first moment in the studio, I knew exactly where this was heading — a massive, big-stage sound, explosive energy, and one powerful moment that gives the vocal all the space it needs to.”
