(SPA) Abrumadora es la experiencia que Ghostlawns acumula en el mundo de la música electrónica y también lo es su nuevo disco: “Motorik”, en Sub Records.
Para el colectivo musical Ghostlawns con sede en Cardiff, la música siempre lo ha sido todo, de ahí que sus composiciones traspasen las fronteras de muchos géneros, como si tras la explosión de un cataclismo, se le ocurriera recoger los restos musicales de otros géneros para reinventarlos, buscando en cada sonido un sentido a un inquietante y oscuro presente.
Es verdad que este colectivo ha pasado por varias etapas dentro de su proceso creativo, que abarca una multitud de géneros, pero en conjunto se las arregla para mostrar un sonido evolucionado, refinado y mejorado, que consolida la carrera de una banda que no carece de virtudes notables, presentando matices tan únicos y frescos, que logran dar forma a piezas únicas. Un trabajo cuyo proceso creativo nace de un impulso por condensar en una pieza su pasión hacia la música, la vida y la gente que ama. Se trata de un disco que también es un mapa para Ghostlawns donde han encontrado el amor de su vida y la auto aceptación, tanto creativa como personal. No importa dónde te encuentres. Sólo tienes que ponerte los auriculares, cerrar los ojos y dejarte llevar por este regalo de la vida.

For the Cardiff-based musical collective Ghostlawns, music has always been everything, hence their compositions cut across the boundaries of many genres, as if after the explosion of a cataclysm, it occurred to him to collect the musical remains of other genres to reinventing them, searching in each sound for a meaning to a disturbing and dark present.
It is true that this group has gone through several stages within its creative process, which encompasses a multitude of genres, but as a whole it manages to show an evolved, refined and improved sound, which consolidates the career of a band that is not lacking in remarkable virtues, presenting such unique and fresh nuances that they manage to shape unique pieces. A work whose creative process is born from an impulse to condense in one piece his passion for music, life and the people he loves. It is an album that is also a roadmap for Ghostlawns where they have found the love of their life and self-acceptance, both creative and personal. It doesn't matter where you are. You just have to put on your headphones, close your eyes and let yourself be carried away by this gift of life.
