Hailing from Gujarat, India, the Producer and DJ IND:RA has made it his mission to leave an impression on the landscape of Electronic Music, whether pushing for its development or joining the community of innovative creators with his compelling music and unique live sets, IND:RA continues to remain a driven and determined force on the scene.
It was back in 2001 that IND:RA first embarked on his journey into Electronic Music; having discovered the enticing sounds of the genre, he soon found himself an active member of his hometown music scene, working to organise his own events, his sights were set on aiding the growth of the culture and popularity of Electronic Music within India. Having established himself as a loyal, dedicated, and enthusiastic supporter of the genre, IND:RA continues to ensure his legacy within Electronic Music; now based in London, IND:RA founded his record label Desert Disco Records in an effort to continue his work towards the enrichment of the Electronic Music landscape. With his label, IND:RA provides a platform for emerging talents, particularly those of the South Asian community; encouraging the next generation of Producers and DJs, IND:RA’s passion and commitment no doubt continue to shine through in each of his endeavours.
In another pursuit to establish himself as an influential figure on the scene, IND:RA is launching his brand-new radio show, ‘RE:SET Radio’. With the intention to bring episodes that celebrate the best that Electronic Music has to offer, aiming to deliver well-balanced mixes featuring the works of up-and-coming Producers and DJs, listeners can expect diverse and dynamic experiences each week. Promising high-energy sets, seamlessly blended to showcase IND:RA’s own mixing skills, unique tastes, and penchant for a wide variety of Electronic Music sub-styles, ‘RE:SET Radio’ will no doubt come as another show to be tuning into whilst expanding the reach of IND:RA’s creativity to audiences far and wide.
The inspirations and influences that have shaped IND:RA’s sound, style, and creative expression have been an ever-evolving collection ever since his early beginnings in India. Drawn to Psy Trance, early Electro, Acid House and Progressive House, IND:RA works to bring in elements from across the vast landscape of Electronic Music, offering a style that pushes the boundaries of genre conventions to appear unique, distinct, and original. As he develops a Melodic House & Techno sound, building his catalogue with tracks like ‘Remember Me’, released earlier this year via Panda Lab Records, IND:RA seeks to keep sonic exploration and experimentation at the forefront of his craft, continuing to deliver tracks that raise the bar of his creativity to highlight his expansive abilities when it comes to curating engaging sonic journeys.
With passion, loyalty, and determination rooted deep within IND:RA’s creative approach, the talented Producer and DJ continues to ensure his promising future within Electronic Music, guiding his artistry to new ground as he keeps his motivation and momentum high.
