How does PANDEMIC RAVE merge cyberpunk aesthetics with electronic music to create a unique cultural experience?
— A careful approach to lighting and visuals is the basis of each of our events. The decorations and attributes of cyberpunk culture, as well as the people who come in character, are complemented by hard techno music, which together creates a unique rave every time.
Since its inception in 2021, how has PANDEMIC RAVE evolved in terms of sound and visual identity?
— The whole point is that it does not change the vector of its concept, it only evolve and improves every time. The lineups are full of foreign artists and producers. The venues are getting bigger, the sound is more powerful, and people's interest in rave is growing.
What role does high-tech and neo-rave play in shaping the atmosphere of your events?
— One of the most important roles, in fact. We connect neural networks and AI to work in visual performances, as well as augmented reality and VR, for greater immersion in the cyberpunk atmosphere.
How do you select the global artists who perform at PANDEMIC RAVE? What qualities do you look for?
— First of all, we pay attention to the most important thing - music. Everything is simple, if we like it, we get acquainted and communicate. An artist who produces original music and knows how to present it is a full-fledged and interesting person for us.
How do you ensure that each event maintains a consistent high-quality sound experience?
— Firstly, we rent only proven spaces. Knowing the place and equipment, we can already achieve a good level of quality. Secondly, we personally participate in setting up the sound and, if necessary, bring an additional set.
What impact do you hope the second VA compilation, PRECISION, will have on the global hard techno scene?
— Haha maybe it can rid the world of screeches and rave stubs. It's simpler, we just love music.
How do cyberpunk and electronic music together represent the underground movement that PANDEMIC RAVE supports?
— This is just our vision of cyberpunk united in techno rave. We already live in the future and there are many people who want to look beyond and even further.
