DJ/Producer based in Tel Aviv. Dor began experimenting with electronic music at a very young age by DJing and producing tracks that were released on labels in Israel and around the world. His first EP "Galala" was released on the well known local label "Blue Shadow" followed by edits and remixes for labels like Maccabi House, Selador, Kinetika music, JEAHMON! Records, Voyeur music and more.
In his music, Dor displays his knowledge of classical music as a classical pianist, combining it with his passion for indie dance genres, house music and acid sounds. No wonder his music has been seen on the Beatport Top 10 charts in the Indie Dance category.

We have had the pleasure of interviewing Dor Danino and this has been the result.
What did you do before you were making music a career?
I feel like I have been around music my whole life, it started when I was about 12 years old. That's when the passion for all types of music began, but before I made music and DJ’d I was actually a sales man for electronic music equipment. Which now looking back was helpful!
One piece of advice you would give your 18-year-old self?
Stop wasting your time thinking about outside noise.
Where can we find your music? (List labels, best tracks and some mixes etc please)
My next release ‘Like A Stone’ is an EP on Amsterdam based label The Gardens Of Babylon. It's a label I have been following for many years and love what they do as a brand, so I am very happy to have a release with them this year and be part of their family of artists. It’s out at the end of March and comes with two remixes – one from Adam Ten and the other Chaim. If you are looking for a recent set of mine, head to my Soundcloud where I uploaded my set from Floyd Club in Miami as well as all my past release. One of my favourite tracks was released at the end of 2022 was ‘Who’s The Mother’ on Maccabi House.
How would you describe your music to someone who doesn't know you?
There is more than one answer to this question because I love to mix all of my abilities into different vibes on each track. I can say that most of my tracks have something in common, that I think is my signature mark; a combination of underground bassline and house music into one groove that is in all of my tracks.
Your next release on The Gardens Of Babylon – walk us through its creative process.
It all started from a chord move that was running in my head for a while, I started with that move and developed it into a track. The track was flowing but I felt it was missing some vocals. Once I found the right vocals it helped me to bring the track to the place, I wanted it to be. With Yamagucci it was like magic. In general, my work with him is something that creates a unique sound, the track was done in one session. By the way, it's Yamagucci singing on the track.
Have you worked with Chaim and Adam Ten before? What do their remixes bring to this release?
With Chaim I have a long-time connection, my first EP ‘Galala’ was released at Chaim and Jenia Tarsol label, Blue Shadow Rec. that made a lot of noise. Also I have some tracks on the process together. Adam Is also an artist I love working with, we have a track together at Selador Rec, Zornita. The track ‘Whos The Mother’ that I mentioned above was released on Adam’s label, Maccabi House. Bringing both Chaim and Adam into this EP created a bigger picture to this release, they completed the story.
Are you playing for any of the Gardens Of Babylon shows this year? If so, where can we see you play?
I will play at The Gardens Of Babylon after party, Butterflies In Babylon Amsterdam on March 18.
Let’s talk about your studio, what is it currently made up of?
Vermona drum machine, DX7, Nord and some secret weapons :)
What is the one instrument you would never get rid of?
Micro Korg for sure
Do you often visit record stores and collect tracks? What was the last record you purchased (vinyl or digital)?
I think vinyls have a special charm, but I am not that into it. I purchased Skrillix last digital album.
Can you reveal some future projects?
Working on some interesting and unique collaborations that i will reveal in the right moment.
Finally, we want to know what makes you happy?
Pizza, my girl and my King Charles puppy.
