How would you present your work to someone who doesn't know you?
Through a speaker because we make music
And your most recent release “Let You Down”? Where is it born from? And where do you want to lead?
Born from my brain and it shall lead to people’s ears.
What message would you like to convey to the public?
Music unites people.
How did your last project come about?
It was a studio session in LA with Deza and Rollo, and we wrote ‘Let You Down’.
What do you want to transmit in this work? What is the concept behind it?
We’d like people to feel uplifted and to dance like NOBODY’S watching.
As for your studio, what is it currently made up of?
We use KRK and Adam speakers, MacBook pros, and we work out of Logic Pro
What is the one instrument you would never get rid of, no matter what?
My first guitar
What was the last record store you visited? And what did you salvage from there?
Neptoon Records in Vancouver and bought The Cranberries second album.
Do you have hope for the future of music? How would you like the future of the music industry to be?
We hope smaller artists get more visibility on DSPs because it’s very hard to compete with The Weekend and the latest TikTok smash. There’s a lot of great music out there and people want to discover it.
Can you reveal some future projects?
I’m fashioning a dining table out of reclaimed wood. I just finished the second stain last night and it’s looking quite rustic.
