Kris Vango and DV/RF, an album on layers of astral cosmic psyche’s (Ψ) beyond objectified scientific discovery

With DV/RF, Kris Vango delivers one of his most ambitious and personal conceptual works to date — a fragmented album expanded into nine atmospheric EPs. The project is steeped in symbolism: the dwarf planets become vessels for understanding the fractures of the human psyche, while their distant orbits echo the emotional distances explored during Vango’s final year with his father. The music itself feels suspended between worlds, as if oscillating between scientific objectivity and mythological introspection. Past collaborators like Lyra Pamuk, Umi Dee, and Lopi have helped shape his universe, but DV/RF shows Vango fully occupying his own gravitational field. With the concluding Makemake EP arriving January 14, 2026, this cycle already stands as a poignant cosmic requiem.
