Lucid Motors and Dish Dash Make Guinness World Records History with Groundbreaking Saudi DJ Relay

In a landmark celebration of music, innovation, and Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding creative landscape, electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors and acclaimed Saudi electronic music duo Dish Dash have set a new Guinness World Records title for the most people participating in an online DJ mixing video relay.

The record-breaking event brought together 61 electronic music artists from across the Kingdom in an eight-hour performance held in Jeddah earlier this year. Featuring some of Saudi Arabia’s most recognized electronic music talents—including Derico, RDJ, Loush, Blacky, Hifi, Cosmicat, and Hatoon—the relay showcased the depth and diversity of the country’s growing electronic music scene.

What made the achievement even more remarkable was the technology behind it. The entire production, including DJ equipment, mixers, speakers, and technical infrastructure, was powered exclusively by a single Lucid Gravity SUV. No generators were used, and the event operated entirely without access to the electrical grid, highlighting the vehicle’s capabilities as a mobile power source.

The project earned a Guinness World Records title for the largest number of electronic music artists to perform using sound equipment powered solely by an electric vehicle. Beyond the record itself, the initiative demonstrated how emerging technologies can support large-scale cultural experiences while promoting sustainability and innovation.
