Mack Loenz is a Barcelona-based electronic artist sharing his own unique new electro sound where melodic, pop-leaning vocals, 80s synth, and heavy low-ends come together in an emotive fashion. Behind the project is Larry McCormick, aka Exzakt, a veteran producer with releases on labels like Turbo, Fabric, and Skint, and support from Helena Hauff, Craig Richards, and Dave Clarke. Mack Loenz is a subtle artistic shift rather than a reinvention, and Maeco Plex's Lone Romantic is a perfect home for the new album, following performances at KOKO London, Tresor, and Razzmatazz.

Lead single ‘Sunrise’ blooms through lush harmonic pads and helix'd arpeggios that stretch over a sharp electro pulse, driven by neck-snapping 808 snares and booming low-end. Anchored by a romantic, yearning vocal, the track gradually decays into a more machine-like presence, creating a tension between human expression and synthetic form that feels both beautiful and dystopian.

Turning up the dial, ‘Switching My Flow’ fires out the gate with squelching synth work, grinding hoover tones, and rapid, flurried vocal fragments cutting through the mix. A gritty, high-energy drive throughout, underpinned by unrelenting low-end pressure and tightly programmed drums, while deepening pads add cinematic weight and melancholic depth beneath the surface.

Mack Loenz's 'Sunrise' comes on Lone Romantic on 12th June 2026.
