Marie Vaunt and Bassjackers join forces for ‘Acid Nation’, a huge new collaboration landing on Arcane Music on 18 September
Bringing together two distinctive forces in electronic music, ‘Acid Nation’ fuses Marie Vaunt’s signature acid-driven intensity with Bassjackers’ high-energy rave sound. The result is a fast, bouncing record built for the dancefloors that highlighted Tomorrowland’s mainstage.
Driven by relentless drums, a commanding low end and acid-infused synth work, ‘Acid Nation’ builds tension before exploding into a powerful, high-energy drop. The track sits at the intersection of acid techno, bouncy rave energy and mainstage impact, bringing together the darker side of the rave with the kind of energy made for peak-time moments.
For Marie Vaunt, the collaboration continues an already prolific relationship with Arcane Music, following a run of high-impact releases including ‘Let The Bass Kick’, ‘Never Gonna Stop’ and her ‘303 101’ EP. Her Arcane catalogue has consistently showcased her ability to push acid and techno elements into powerful, dancefloor-focused territory.
Bassjackers bring their high-energy sound to the collaboration, combining bouncy grooves and rave energy with Marie’s darker, acid-led aesthetic. It’s another step in the duo’s evolving sound, built around fast grooves, big energy and records made to move a crowd.

ABOUT MARIE VAUNT
Marie Vaunt is a Japanese American techno producer and DJ currently based in Los Angeles. Known for her massive rhythms, dark and ethereal vocals, and genre-defining acid lines, she has built a dedicated global following, surpassing 18.9 million Spotify streams in 2025 and appearing regularly on the Beatport Top 100.
Her track That Acid reached the #1 position on the Beatport Top 100, becoming her third chart-topping release alongside Dark Room on Drumcode and The Chosen on her own imprint Kurai Records. She is one of the few artists to have held three tracks simultaneously in the Top 10 of the Beatport Techno charts, with Dark Room, ADSR and Reaction charting together in early 2024. Kurai Records has since risen to become one of the top three techno labels on Beatport.
That same year, Marie became the best-selling female techno artist on Beatport and ranked fourth overall. Her repertoire includes releases on Arcane, Drumcode, Revealed Recordings, EXTATIC and Monstercat. She has earned support from leading industry figures including Eli Brown, Hardwell, Maddix,Tiesto, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, John Summit, David Guetta and Adam Beyer.
Marie has brought her signature sound to stages across Japan, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, Portugal, Spain and the United States just to name a few. She performed at Creamfields in 2024, made her EDC Las Vegas debut in 2025 and is slated for Tomorrowland Winter 2026, all while headlining clubs and festivals around the world.
