Deep Dish bring you their phenomenal remix of Moderat’s 2016 masterpiece Eating Hooks, available on Global Underground. Eating Hooks will be a centrepiece of the final part of their Global Underground trilogy, GU49: Dublin. This beautiful, emotive reworking also marks the first Moderat release for three years, following the Rampa &ME Remix of More Love.

Eating Hooks (Deep Dish Remix) resonates. Deeply. Whilst keeping the stripped back beauty and tempo of the original, this remix adds without subtracting. New areas of the sonic map are revealed to you as Deep Dish explore the world Moderat created. 

An arpeggiated, echoed synth line takes you on a journey, always evolving, dancing around the vocal like spirits on the dancefloor. Bass synth stripped down, echoed again, building with layers of pure spiritual emotion wrapped around the line ‘Pure of Myself’. It’s better than great. It’s seminal. It sets the tone for the outrageously superb GU49: Dublin. If you loved Moscow and Toronto, you are in for a real treat, the perfect climax to the Deep Dish GU City Series trilogy.
