With Right Here, MRZ proves that the future of house is rooted in its past. Across four distinct yet coherent cuts, the French artist reconstructs the genre’s emotional DNA through modern textures, lo-fi atmospheres, and hypnotic grooves.
The lead single “What You Do” (October 10) is pure chemistry between acid basslines and heartfelt pads, setting a nostalgic but forward-thinking tone. The follow-up “Break Out” (October 24) injects a rush of rhythm and optimism—breakbeat patterns collide with classic piano stabs to create an infectious dance-floor pulse. “Don’t Look Back” is a masterclass in 90s euphoria, where vocal snippets and sparkling keys capture that sense of release only house can offer. The closer, “Something”, feels like a heartfelt mantra—its spoken-word fragments and dreamy layers transforming the track into a declaration of love for the scene itself.
MRZ doesn’t just make tracks; he tells the story of house music’s evolution in four movements, balancing emotion, rhythm, and memory with remarkable precision.

His selection inspired by the 90's, varies between house and techno, through soulful house, deep house, garage house, funky house, UK garage, French touch, jungle and acid house. He has already had the opportunity to play in clubs and festivals in France, USA, Japan, the UK, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
