NEWS: CO-ACCUSED SHARE EXHILARATING NEW EP ON THEIR OWN LABEL

Scottish DJ and production duo Co-Accused return with the second release on their own Co-Accused Records label. The thunderous EP titled VA Volume 1 features four tracks from Sosak, Fear-E, Acidulant and Co-Accused themselves.

They kick things off with the pounding 'PA2 Crew'. An ode to the hardcore they both loved in their earlier raving days, the title of the track pays homeage to their hometown of Paisley. Track two comes from Sosak, an alias of Glasgow's Gary Beck. Sosak’s 'Do One' keeps the energy high with pulsating synths and driving drums taking you on a freight train into oblivion. On the flip side, Fear-E delves further into the EP's own cosmic dimension. 'Rhubarb and Custard' is a jackin 'journey filled with melodic elements and chaotic atmospheres. Self-confessed acid freak Acidulant brings the release to a close with the deep, dark and moody 'Drankx'. A hypnotic trip into the void.

Their techno and electro label Co-Accused Records has a dynamic ethos, channelling what they describe as “sonic grooves from another galaxy”. Last year the duo kickstarted the label with a debut four-track release. Titled ‘Psychonaut Society', it features a remix from Jensen Interceptor and has received strong support from the likes of Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke and Slam. Co-Accused's own productions have also appeared on Soma Records sub-label Avoidant and the Berlin based label Sävy Records. In addition, Lindsay's solo track 'Creepin' has recently been released on Sync 24's label Cultivated Electronics, and Raymond's solo work remixed by Hardfloor and The Horrorist. Always staying true to their driving, energetic sound, Co-Accused never fail to make a dance floor move.

Renowned for their hybrid sound of electro, techno and hard hitting acid, Co-Accused have cemented themselves as a staple of Scotland’s vibrant club scene. Long-standing resident DJs of the legendary Paisley underground venue Club 69, their parties have attracted an impressive line-up of artists, from exciting emerging talents to time-honoured leaders of the scene. An established name in Scotland and regulars at Glasgow's Riverside Festival, Co-Accused have also destroyed dancefloors across Europe in cities like Amsterdam and Barcelona.
