REVIEW: Casper Cole presents Matter of Time ft. Ed Begley

ODTD039 sees the return of Casper Cole's Oddity after his debut last December on Odd Echoes Vol.5 with 'Fortuna', Casper Cole returns, and this time with Matter Of Time, with exceptional support from vocalist Ed Begley and Fur Coat. for the remix.

The album as a whole manages to provide introspection, an absorbing crepuscular and luminous energy, and that closes an album that knows how to turn musical pulp into a refreshing ambrosia juice. The more the record is listened to, the more difficult it is to place it in a specific geographic location. His music seems to never solidify, to be a flow of sounds and impressions that never seem to remain fixed in place or memory, like a perfume or a quick vision of a body in motion, to the point of postulating itself as one of the true values of the future of meek and brilliant electronics.

Matter Of Time can and should be heard as a timeless piece of music, which conveys a positive idea in times of conflict, and its aesthetic appeals to the most basic, deep and receptive of the spirit. Casper Cole, in short, designs a wide and fragile sound to listen and feel from the deepest.

Casper Cole's mastery of language is total, and here they have once again delved into the past to draw inspiration from another verse, more forceful and melancholy, but no less evocative. All in all, we can safely say that this Matter Of Time is on the verge of excellence.
