REVIEW: mOnster Heart Driver - Do Palm Trees Dream of Snow ? [Pace Keepin Records]

Annibale O's recording label Pace Keepin welcomes the French producer, mOnster Heart Driver (MHD), and we can easily understand where those two met, musically speaking. MHD delivers three House / Deep House tracks cruising between NYC's raw, early beats, and the Midwest science of deepness. The release ends on a mysterious, proto boom bap track, blurring the lines between genres.

mOnster Heart Driver creates unique landscapes, where electronic music is transformed into a pure cinematic environment. A music full of multiple axes and edges, resulting in a work that, above all, is defined by his great personality. Compositions that will make you travel and flood you with breaths of fresh air.

We do not know where to register his latest work, as he is able to navigate between various genres with ease and mastery. We could say that his retro-futuristic electronic court is the most honest and eclectic to date. This latest work, so narrative and cinematographic, invites us to enjoy it both at home and on the dance floor.

In such a complex and chaotic moment, in the middle of a pandemic, Do Palm Trees Dream of Snow ? becomes a place as wonderful as it is necessary.
