Seattle’s iconic Uniting Souls Music celebrates the arrival of summer with a new compilation release, Summer Soulstice 2024! Co-curated by label founder Ramiro Gutierrez, and longtime resident DJ/producer and A&R labelmate Jordan Strong, the album features eleven new tracks, by a wide variety of talented West Coast producers. The release features a strong contingent representing Hawaii, where Jordan found his new home post-pandemic.
From the onset, Jordan’s remix of Hamza Rahimtula’s “Discotello” kicks the release into high gear with some fun, nu-disco, melodic summer vibes! Jordan’s time in Hawaii allowed him to connect with the islands’ sprawling artistic community & dance music creators, with great results – JonPaul and MettaAtom’s bass-heavy “My House”, Trisk3lion’s urban-house anthem “Vibe,” and Sovato’s “The Sun,” a melodic journey which captures the essence of island life, house music vibes, and the label’s mission of connection and creating an extended family through music.
The second half of the album features talent from up and down the West Coast, with new music from Jordan and his fellow Los Angelino production-partner Knoe1, as well as Vancouver B.C.’s Andy Clockwork, San Francisco producer Native Intelligence/Indigo Kid, Seattle veteran Ben Meadow, and two emerging artists you’ll need to keep an ear out for - Jaogaz and I Will Control. The flavors will bounce from bass-heavy to deep to melodic, and back! USM’s Summer Soulstice 2024 Compilation will bring the heat to your dance floor with these solid grooves.
