The North East of Scotland's biggest electronic music festival, Cultivate, will celebrate its Fall Edition on Bank Holiday Weekend 23 & 24 September 2023 with blk., D.O.D., Sara Landry and Creeds the first names announced.
Following on from last weekend’s massive May edition, the Autumn instalment of the much-loved event will again demonstrate why Cultivate has become an integral part of Scotland’s electronic music scene, with the initial line-up boasting a mix of the worlds best electronic music.
Ireland’s blk. brings boundary pushing hard techno with his distinctive melodies laced with pulsing drumbeats, pounding basslines and a dash of trance. His non stop touring has seen him rise to fame in a short period of time and will be one to watch.
Fresh from his new single ‘So Much Love’ being named Hottest Record in the World by Radio 1’s Danny Howard, D.O.D will bring his inimitable sound to Cultivate. Having released music on some of the world’s best labels such as Spinnin’, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, to name but a few his pedigree is second-to-none and will be a highlight of the weekend.
French firebrand Creeds eclectic hardbeats & techno, combining melodies and rough rhythms has been inescapable on Tik Tok with his viral hit “Push Up” and drawing huge crowds Europe-wide.
American producer and DJ Sara Landry’s dark, feminine techno has won audiences all over the world and gained millions of streams online, with her industrial take on Cardi B’s WAP a massive hit on the European scene. Her unique, uncompromising vision for her music will be sure to inspire.
Since launching in 2018 the festival has become a key fixture of Scotland's events calendar, forming a vibrant, vital platform for emerging local artists and the electronic music scene in the area.
True to its name, Cultivate is an event that seeks to 'cultivate' homegrown talent and foster a sense of community, while delivering an immersive and diverse musical experience. Last week thousands of music lovers were welcomed into the unique venue Innoflate with stunning views of Aberdeen beach front where over 50 international artists and local DJs packed out the dancefloors across the two days.

Highlights over the weekend included sets from Charlie Sparks, Frank, Tibasko, 999999999, and Hannah Laing with a surprise guest bagpiper to close her set with a rip roaring edition of Flower Of Scotland. The Rare terrace was packed all weekend with the good weather. Good times had. Roll on September!”
