Chinois Ibiza’s free ‘PORTSIDE’ party another storming success

‘For Ibiza, With Love’ - Fourth Year of beloved Open-Air Ibiza Port party

On Sunday June 21st, Chinois held their fourth annual free open-air party, their love letter to Ibiza, the hugely popular ‘PORTSIDE’ at Ibiza Port, at which thousands enjoyed top-flight DJ sets absolutely free.  

‘We knew the fourth edition of PORTSIDE would be special, but nothing prepared us for the incredible response from the island’, says Sharon Simonetta, Marketing Director, Chinois Ibiza. ‘From the very first moments, the Port was filled with people ready to dance, connect and celebrate the community that makes Ibiza unlike anywhere else in the world. PORTSIDE has always been our love letter to Ibiza, and this year the island gave that love straight back to us.’

Chinois loves to thank, celebrate and unite island locals, authorities, businesses, workers and visitors. PORTSIDE each year is about inclusion, celebrating the White Isle, its sense of community, its magic spirit, the legacy of Ibiza’s old town…  This year’s success was enhanced by the spectacular free special effects created by a flaming Ibizan sunset, as Chinois’ world-class DJs performed for the happy crowds. 

Guest DJs: Latin House pioneer & island favourite LUCIANO returned for his 4th PORTSIDE, with a magic set inc. life-affirming classics like Ultra Nate’s ‘Free’. Co-headlining, Chinois’ current Sunday residents/SAGA founders BEDOUIN showed why they won 2025’s Vicious Award for Best House Party in Ibiza for their melodic house/world music magic; while local hero, global talent & Beachhouse resident BRUZ provided a glorious set. 

‘The artists poured their hearts into every moment. Bruz opened the evening with warmth and authenticity, setting the perfect tone before Bedouin delivered a beautiful, deeply emotional set just hours before launching their SAGA residency,  while Luciano reminded us once again why he remains one of Ibiza's most iconic artists, delivering what many of us felt was one of his best PORTSIDE performances to date. Thanks are due: Chinois would like to especially thank Ibiza Town Council, Balearic Islands Port Authority, Ibiza Port Neighbors and Businesses Association, La Marina de Ibiza Businesses Association, Calle de la Virgen Business Association, and Es Pratet Residents Association. PORTSIDE, like much of Ibiza’s club scene, would not be possible without their invaluable support and assistance, and thanks to them, all those behind the scenes and local businesses, this year’s party was yet another heartwarming love-in. 

Hordes of Portsiders hungry for more rounded off their night back at Chinois, a short stroll away, where BEDOUIN launched their SAGA residency’s first night, a ‘Garden of Unearthly Delights’ afterparty. Their fabulous guest DJs JIMI JULES, TRIKK, and AGELESS shared the love till dawn.
