INTERVIEW: Raver's Diary - Adivinha o Que É



Raver's Diary returns to Kepler Live Records for its 16th release and first this year. Not only his album, it is more about interpretations, perspectives of different artists culminating in a nickname "Adivinha o Que É" - "Guess what it is". And it is about guessing, it is about interpretations and visions, a journey to a landscape outside the box.


We have had the pleasure of chatting with its creators, and this has been the result.


Can you tell us a bit about your experience? Where are you from / how did you get into music?

My dad offered me my first synthesizer when I was 15. in 2017 I started to produce professionally Techno. My name is Jorge Correia and I come from Lisbon, Portugal

How is your sound evolving? What artists and genres do you like to mix at the moment?

I started producing distorted/industrial techno and after some years of refining my sound, I am more into a positive vibe of music and its where it feels like home.

How do you feel your music influences or impacts your listeners?

The name of my tracks. A lot of people identify with that since its all about real life situations.

What projects are you working on right now? What can you tell us about your last job?

Working on an album for Diffuse Reality, a free to download EP and EP for Kepler Live Records

Where are you and what have you been doing now?

In Lisbon at the moment working Monday to Friday and producing a lot of techno during the night


Has that sound changed much in recent years? What is your musical criteria?

Early 2000's Techno. Tracks with a good fat bass and kick and a dub tool vibe


Do you feel safe now to play a more experimental sound?

Yes, I do live sets since 2017, so I always love experimental music


We all know that the digital revolution has affected sales, but has it affected creativity?

No, absolutely not. It helped me even more to improve my sound
