Mettā Atom – Choreomania | Uniting Souls Music
With Choreomania, Mettā Atom explores the space where hypnotic grooves, high-energy electronics and a more introspective sensibility meet. Across 16 tracks, the Honolulu-based producer brings together house, techno and percussive influences in a project that balances dancefloor functionality with a broader sense of sonic exploration. Featuring a cast of Hawaii-based vocalists, including Kapu, Ky Kalani, Jade Muniz, Jon Elis and Jayden, the LP reflects a collaborative approach rooted in community and connection. Released through Seattle’s Uniting Souls Music, Choreomania feels aligned with the label’s enduring commitment to independent West Coast sounds and music made to travel far beyond its place of origin.
Mettā Atom’s musical background lends the project a perspective that extends beyond the usual boundaries of club production. With years of experience across instruments, genres and electronic production, his approach leaves room for rhythmic experimentation without losing sight of the dancefloor. There is a clear emphasis on music as a shared experience, where vocal contributions and electronic textures can work together to create a sense of movement and collective release. Choreomania brings that philosophy into focus, connecting the energy of Honolulu’s local scene with a wider network of underground dance music.
